Mechanization is central to improving small-scale farming. By providing farmers with small, mechanized tools, we can free them from using rudimentary equipment and ease the heavy burden of manual labor. This allows farmers to cultivate larger areas of land with less effort, which leads to the benefits of economies of scale. Additionally, this shift will free up labor from subsistence farming and allow it to move into more productive sectors
